In this challenging, insightful and fun class, you will learn the fundamentals of the craft and will emerge with a much more thorough knowledge base of on-camera technique, character development, scene analysis and practical aspects of the profession.

Bart challenges seach actor to tap in to their own essence, their source of imagination and truth when building a character. The resulting freedom will provide you with the intuition and instincts needed to create real characters that ignite the scene, your scene partner and your performance. You'll emerge from Bart's class with a toolbox of acting techniques at your disposal and as a result, have much more confidence in your journey forward as an actor.

Bart Anderson is a Ryerson Theatre School graduate and an established acting instructor, having worked extensively in film, television, and theatre since 1985. His film and television credits include roles in Human Cargo, Godiva's, Slither, DaVinci's Inquest, Cold Squad, and Millenium. Bart's live theatre appearances include a one-man show, At Demons With My Face, and several shows with the Shaw Theatre Festival. Bart received the Jessie Richardson Award for outstanding performance in 1998. He was last on stage opposite Eric McCormack in the Arts Club production of GlenGarry GlenRoss.
